VIOR, Villa Ormaneto’s restaurant, takes its guests on a journey through the flavors of the contemporary Venetian tradition reinvented by Chef Marco Fazzini with his restless mind and drive. The ingredients, provided by small local producers and of the highest quality, are carefully selected to create harmonious and creative dishes. The elegant and refined interiors of the Villa and the secular park represent the ideal components for an outdoor lunch or dinner.
Our team of cooks is led by the young Chef Marco Fazzini. Marco has an outstanding resume having worked, among others, at Splendido Hotel in Portofino, La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi of Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Talvo by Dalsass in St. Moritz, and Restaurant Quadri in Venice.
VIOR Restaurant offers traditional Venetian cuisine reinvented and jazzed up with fusion recipes, using quality and seasonal ingredients from the Venice Lagoon, the Venetian countryside, the Dolomites and Lake Garda, and valuing the work of small producers and local farmers. Our summer menu 2021 has meat and fish dishes that will surprise you for creativity and taste. Bakery has a separate, dedicated menu and, finally, here is our wine list. VIOR Restaurant offers a wine selection that comes from the heart, the memory, the desire to discover a small producer, and the awareness of having a great residence; the common thread is the pleasure of offering a glass filled with emotions, stories, know-how and quality.
The direction in the dining room is entrusted to the professionalism and attention of Restaurant Manager Silvia Guazzo, with past professional experiences at Pollen Street Restaurant, Godiva Chocolate Bar, Kensington Close Hotel, all of which in London, Eden Roc Resort and Relais Chateaux Punta Cana, Splendido Hotel in Portofino, and Terrazza Marchesi Grand Hotel Tremezzo, just to name a few.
