The menu of VI·OR, Villa Ormaneto’s restaurant, is an ode to Venetian countryside. We are in a hunting lodge built in the 1300s for the Scaliger family. Now as then, those who venture into Villa Ormaneto seek authentic flavours, dishes of the traditional Veronese cuisine, in an elegant and convivial atmosphere.
The menu is the result of a path taken with manufacturers, artisans and winemakers who, like us, care about quality and the values of tradition. We opened our eyes to what is around us, trying to look at it with amazement and gratitude, and realizing we are surrounded by places rich in history, memories, legends, folklore and traditions. We are glad to be keepers of local dishes and tastes, as well as ambassadors of the excellent productions and stories of our territory.See our menu
The courses order is that of the classic Italian menu, with starters, first courses, main courses, and desserts, closing with the obligatory ritual of coffee and digestive liquer. In addition to the à la carte menu, we have included a special menu dedicated to Forgotten Dishes, which represents a journey through the great flavours of Venetian country cuisine.
Eating at Villa Ormaneto means participating in a ritual of conviviality and sharing which also includes the service and setting of the table. Our table is that of an elegant country house that receives guests on a feast day, for gala dinners or exclusive events: it’s when the best ceramics and fine fabrics are used, and food is cooked with the passion of those who want to offer the best to their guests. Some of the ceramics we have chosen are made by ceramic artists who have created lines and decorations especially for us, to make the experience even more unique and special.
